1. Minimum Order
There is no minimum order for wines. Should we be unable to fulfil the order due to insufficient stocks, we will contact you to discuss possible alternatives. It is our policy to propose wines of a similar style of equal or greater value where possible. However, we will not substitute alternatives wines without your express agreement.

2. Delivery
For deliveries by public carrier to UK mainland addresses there is a delivery charge of £5 per delivery address for orders under £150 and a £10 charge for orders under £50 to cover delivery and packaging costs. Your order will be dispatched immediately upon receipt of payment. For deliveries elsewhere, please contact us for a quote.

Wines delivered by public carrier (usually London City Bond or Amtrak) will usually arrive on the day following despatch. It is essential that you advise us if there is unlikely to be anyone at the delivery address to receive the wines as an additional delivery charge will be incurred if the carrier has to effect a second delivery. In these circumstances you will be invoiced for the second delivery.

Please check carefully all goods at the time of delivery and sign the delivery note accordingly. Any defective or corked bottles will be credited only if returned immediately. Claims for breakages or theft from cases sent by public carrier must be advised in writing to ourselves within three days of receipt. Breakages must be retained with the packing for examination by the carrier. Claims for non-delivery must be advised within one week of the delivery due date (two weeks from confirmation of order).

3. Prices
Subject to delivery terms above, the prices quoted are inclusive of all charges except where stated otherwise (in particular, wines sold en primeur or in bond will be subject to duty, VAT and onward delivery at cost). 

4. Intellectual property

The Big Red Wine Company website, its style and structure, and the materials and information contained within are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights, and may not be used except as expressly provided in writing by the copyright holder.

5. Miscellaneous
All wines are offered subject to availability. Prices may change as a result of fluctuations in currency exchanges, excise duty, VAT or other unseen circumstances. All wines remain the property of The Big Red Wine Company until paid for in full. The Big Red Wine Company will not be liable for failure to meet agreed obligations due to prevailing circumstances beyond its control. E&OE.
