What is the definition of "Fine wines"? Some merchants would describe all the
wines we list as fine merely because they are vintage wines from named
producers. Clearly that is insufficient to warrant the description. For us, fine
wines are those that are several cuts above the rest with serious ageing
potential, they probably have been highly praised by the major critics (although
this is not why we stock them) and they are likely to cost over £10 per bottle,
rather more in some cases.
Use this page to search for fine wines from our list. Some are included on our main list; many
are not and are available only in small quantities. Please
contact us
if you would like to be kept informed of any changes or if you would like to know more about any
of the wines. We have included the Robert Parker scores for each wine where appropriate.
