Boutique WinesFor us, the term "boutique wines"
means micro-cuvées of wines where, often, the winemaker has been thinking
outside the box. An icewine from the Southern Rhône? A Port-lookalike from
Madiran? Even the more mainstream examples such as pure Roussanne or Grenache
from the Southern Rhône are made in such small quantities and with so much
attention, they merit a listing here. On the whole they
will not have been reviewed by any of the major critics so there's only one way
to find out just how good they are - you won't be disappointed!
