Rhône Prestige Case (reds)

As Rhône specialists it makes sense that we offer mixed selections of our range for you to try (see also our 'Rhône Starter Case'). These will change periodically but the idea is to offer several wines from the region which, whilst built using the same blocks (Grenache, Syrah etc) are nonetheless very different. This case will feature Châteauneuf-du-Pape and prestige labels heavily but the aim will be to avoid too many obvious wines. All wines included are ready for current drinking but most should continue to develop well. Special mixed case price £175 - Save over £10 off the list price of £185.9.

Domaine Brusset, Gigondas 2007 'Le Grand Montmirail' (Tradition)  Fresh fruited and rich red from Gigondas. RP: 92/100

Domaine des Côteaux des Travers, Côtes du Rhône Villages-Rasteau 2007 'Prestige' Ripe, fruity red with plenty of elegance. RP: 92/100

Domaine Bressy-Masson, Côtes du Rhône Villages-Rasteau 2007 'Paul-Emile' Very smooth-textured Rasteau with sweet cherry fruit and light oak character. RP: 93/100

Domaine de Mourchon Séguret 'Grande Reserve' Côtes du Rhône Villages 2005 Superb, ripe and not-too-heavily oaked from the tiny Côtes du Rhône Villages of Séguret. WS: 91/100 SMART BUY; RP: 91+/100
