This is an introduction to some of the great wines the region has to offer, all from our own imports. Producers listed below are regularly reviewed in the international press and all these wines are drinking well now although there is no hurry with any of them. Normally retailing at £102.80, we offer this mixed dozen of red wines (two bottles each) at £90 - save around 8%.

Domaine des Côteaux des Travers Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne 2006 'Selection' Superb old-vine Grenache wine, very ripe. RP: 99/100

Domaine des Anges Cabernet Sauvignon VDP de Vaucluse 2008 Fruity, concentrated ripe Cabernet with some oak character and great tannins.

Domaine de la Charité 'Charité' Côtes du Rhône 2009 Fabulous red Côtes du Rhône offering excellent purity and deep fruit character. GH: 3/3 stars

Domaine Grand Veneur 'Champauvins' Côtes du Rhône 2007 mini-Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Alain Jaume - superb value. 91/100 (Parker)

Domaine des Anges Rouge Côtes du Ventoux 2007 Full and fruity red, far better than most Côtes du Rhône wines. (No. 90 in Oz Clarke's 250 Best Wines for 2011)
