Liebart-Reginer, Champagne
The family vineyards of Laurent and Valérie Liebart spread over seven
hectares in the Marne Valley and more specifically in two villages called
Baslieux-sous-Châtillon and Vauciennes There is a majority of black grapes
(Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) with some Chardonnay (10% of the total) also
grown. Selected for their complementary qualities, these grapes bring a
balance to the Champagnes. A long tradition of excellent reviews in publications such as the Guide
Hachette gives the buyer confidence which won't go unrewarded when the wines
are actually tasted. We have bought the Brut Tradition (also in half
bottles) as well as the Rosé (one of the very best we have ever tasted,
aided by a good slug of Pinot Noir to give the colour and also some
additional character and complexity) and the magnificent "Cuvée Confidencia",
fermented and partially matured in oak casks like Krug but without the
price-tag! Sorry, but a serious database error occurred. It is not possible to continue. Please report to error to support. Cause was: Failed to open record; SQL was SELECT * FROM wines WHERE (estate = 'Liebart-Regnier' OR estate = '' OR estate = '' OR estate = '') and NOT (id in (SELECT DISTINCT id FROM wines WHERE no_stock_1=1)) order by bottle_price | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
