Our "house" Champagne is made from base wine from the 2004 vintage so this is really quite mature for a standard bottling. As such it has a softness to it which makes it slip down very easily although it is still a lively wine. More important is the flavour profile: some biscuit character emerging from the mature Chardonnay. All together a very drinkable and superior Champagne.

"Light gold. Distinctive nose merging floral, brioche-like and hazelnut notes. A blanc de blancs that manages to be full-bodied and creamy with aromas highlighted by lingering freshness. Uncork for pre-dinner drinks or with a platter of shellfish." (Gilbert & Gaillard)
