Tasting Notes:
This 2009 has the classic Usseglio nose of herbs and cherry liqueur, a lovely mouthfeel which is not overdone and plenty of red/black fruit. The tannins are fine and well balanced and the wine is clearly going to develop well over the decade.

Critic Reviews:
"A beauty. Dark, ruby/purple coloured, full bodied wine displaying lots of garrigue, black cherry, blackcurrant and earthy flavours, good richness, sweet tannins and abundant glycerin as well as opulence." 90/100 (Wine Advocate)

'Rich and rampant on the nose. Exceptionally alluring. Well balanced and savoury with the (considerable) tannins kept well in check. Very snazzy and polished but lots of delivery of flavour.' 18/20 (Jancis Robinson MW)
