Tasting Notes: From Cote Rozier, this is quite intense at present (2017), bold black fruit character dominating with good pepperiness and plenty of structure. This Cote Rotie is fairly powerful with good intensity of fruit. A fabulous wine to drink any time.

Aged 18 months in new oak from Allier and Nevers. Barrels 50% new with oxygen added every 4 months. | ABV: 13% | Critic Reviews: "Cask sample. Tasted blind. Blackish crimson. Warm, ripe nose suggests ripe blackberries and spice. Dusty, sweet finish. Pretty hefty with an edge of acidity." 16.5/20 ( Jancis Robinson MW) |
