Tasting Notes: This has been likened to a (rather more expensive) Brunello di Montalcino with its full-bodied earthiness. Tasted in 2014, it was far too young to appreciate its potential but a second tasting in January 2015 revealed a wine that is difficult to put down. Since then, nothing has changed except that the wine has become even more interesting - excellent with food but rather good on its own too. Last tasted in June 2025: wonderfully evolved, still very much together.
