Tasting Notes: | Drinking Dates: 2022 to 2028 | Cépagement: 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah. | Soil: Stony terraces on clay and sandy soils. | Upbringing: The grapes are manually harvested. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are sorted, crushed and vatted. The fermentation is quite long and the extraction is done by manual punching down. After the malolactic fermentation and blending, the wines are aged in oak Foudres and barrels for a year. | ABV: 14.5% | Critic Reviews: 'Delicious blueberry and redcurrant purity – really delicious, with excellent clarity and intensity. Rounded, furry tannic texture, good balance, liquorice notes on the finish. Totally complete and satisfying. Among the best of their crus bottlings.' 17/20 ( Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com) |
