Tasting Notes: Inevitably not the most Italian of wines - more Burgundian as you would expect from Chardonnay grafted from a vineyard in Meursault and aged in barrels - but with a distinctive Italian freshness and minerality. Very complex, this wine should be enjoyed at a (very) cool room temperature, not from the fridge. Last tasted August 2015 - still going strong! | Drinking Dates: 2011 to 2018 | Cépagement: 100% Chardonnay (grafted from Meursault) | Upbringing: Barrique-aged. |
