Tasting Notes: Sublime Barolo, one that is all about the fruit - the barrels take a back seat here. Quite rounded, plummy fruit and less full-bodied than many of its peers, this is a wine to enjoy with food without overwhelming it. | Drinking Dates: 2012 to 2026 | Cépagement: 100% Nebbiolo | Upbringing: Maceration with the skins for 15 days at 28-31°C. Transferred to 25hl casks where it matures for 24 months. Bottled 36 months after the harvest. | Critic Reviews: "Another beautiful wine that is full of promise. The Gramolere possesses an additional level of plumpness than the Casteletto with attractive suggestions of violets, dark plums, spices and menthol that flow effortlessly from its medium-bodied frame.
