This vintage needs a little more time to bring the fruit forward but the bones are there. Good potential.
2016 to 2019
100% Pinot Noir
Grapes are 100% destemmed. After fermentation, wines spend 16 months in assorted oak barrels (Francois Freres). Decidedly non-interventionist winemaking.
"A gentle touch of wood frames ripe and airy mix of various red berry fruit scents that are nuanced by
hints of spice and earth. The supple and round flavours also possess fine detail on the delicious and
punchy finish that delivers fine length and lovely complexity. It isn’t at the same level as the
Servoisine but it’s a lovely effort all the same." 2016+ 89-91/100 (Allen Meadows, Burghound)
